Holiday Toy Drive - December 2008
Zappos employees helped collect new toys for the NCCF this year. We raised over 140 toys that went to needy families, children in the hospital over the holiday, and for their treasure chest program which gives each child a toy to help distract them while receiving various treatments.

Kentucky Holiday Giving - December 2008
This holiday season the Zappos.com KY Fulfillment Center teamed up with the Bullitt County Family Resource Centers to help some families holiday wishes come true! The Family Resource Centers are grant funded agencies within the school system that assists families with a variety of needs, as well as bring great programming opportunities to our students and families. Zappos is very proud to say that its employees helped 86 children have a great Christmas this year! Approximately 70 kids were helped by Zappos employees Directly! The remaining kids were taken care of by the money we raised from the sale of our left over fleece jackets! Way to go Kentucky FC Employees!!

Bullitt County School District - August 2008
The Zappos.com Fulfillment Center in Shepherdsville, Kentucky announced its partnership with The Bullitt County Public Schools at a press event. The event kicked off with a surprise for 20 kids from the local elementary schools. The Shepherdsville Outlet stores collected 2 pairs of shoes and backpacks filled with school supplies for each child to help them start the school year in fashion. After the shoes and supplies were handed out, Zappos announced a $30,000 donation to the Bullitt County Public Schools as well as launching several volunteer and internship programs. Any of the district's 12 elementary schools, six middle schools, four high schools and other facilities may apply for funds which will be distributed via an internal grant competition.




Shoe Drive - June 2008
Everyone loves a new pair of shoes and children are no different. Zappos.com donated 200 pairs and employees matched that with another 200 pairs of new shoes to benefit the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. In addition, more than 100 pairs of gently used shoes were collected. These shoes will be used to support various programs the foundation offers such as Camp Cartwheel, Flashes of Hope, and Champions Run for Life.


Aid For AIDS Nevada - May 2008
Zappos.com was a sponsor for the recent AFAN (Aid for AIDS Nevada) walk, and 40 employees raised money and walked for the cause.
