The Zappos Fulfillment Centers in Shepherdsville, Kentucky announced its partnership with The Bullitt County Public Schools at a press event. The event kicked off with a surprise for 20 kids from the local elementary schools. After the shoes and supplies were handed out, they announced a $30,000 donation to the Bullitt County Public Schools as well as launching several volunteer and internship programs. Any of the district's 12 elementary schools, six middle schools, four high schools and other facilities may apply for funds which will be distributed via an internal grant competition.

Shoe Drive - June 2008
Everyone loves a new pair of shoes and children are no different. We donated 200 pairs and employees matched that with another 200 pairs of new shoes to benefit the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. In addition, more than 100 pairs of gently used shoes were collected. These shoes will be used to support various programs the foundation offers such as Camp Cartwheel, Flashes of Hope, and Champions Run for Life.
