Sock Hop - April 2008

The Fulfillment Center in Shepherdsville, KY had a Sock Hop to benefit "Hannah's Socks," a charity that collects socks for the homeless in the northern Kentucky and southern Ohio/Indiana area. Zappos employees donated around 550 pairs of socks! We had a great time with a '50's costume contest, ice cream social, and karaoke-singin' to some oldies!

Polar Bear Plunge Benefiting The Special Olympics Of Kentucky - February 2008

What's better than jumping into freezing cold water? Jumping in for charity! 53 employees from our Kentucky distribution center joined the annual Polar Bear Plunge benefiting the Special Olympics of Kentucky. These crazy Zapponians wore their favorite 80's rock star gear and jumped into the freezing cold river. The high for the day was a chilly 36 degrees!
